What we collect

Only what an order actually requires:

• Your name, phone number and email address — to confirm the order, send updates, and let you sign in to track or cancel it.
• Your delivery address and PIN code — to price delivery and to get the parcel to you.
• Your order history — what you bought, when, and what it cost.
• Your email address alone, if you subscribe to the newsletter.

We do not ask for your date of birth, gender, or anything else we have no use for.

What we never see

Your card, UPI or bank details never reach us. Payment is handled entirely by Razorpay on their own systems. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference number.

Why we hold it

• To fulfil and deliver your order — the contract you entered into
• To let you track, cancel or get a refund
• To keep tax records, which Indian law requires us to retain
• To send marketing emails, but only if you subscribed

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of service providers, each doing one job. They may process your data only on our instructions.

• Razorpay — payments. Handles your payment details directly; we never receive them.
• Supabase — the database holding orders and accounts.
• Vercel — hosting for this website.
• Resend — sends order confirmations and other emails.
• Our courier partner — receives your name, address and phone number, because that is what a delivery needs.
• Meta — see Advertising below.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We disclose it otherwise only where the law requires it.

Advertising

This site uses the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising — which ads lead to a purchase, so we are not spending blindly. It records page views, items added to the cart, and completed orders, along with the order value.

Meta may use this to show you our ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can limit this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or block it with most ad-blocking browser extensions. The pixel is not required to browse or buy — the site works normally without it.

Cookies

We keep this minimal. The site stores a small amount of data in your browser to remember your cart, your chosen language, and to keep you signed in. These are necessary for the site to function and are not used to track you across other websites. The Meta Pixel sets its own cookies, as described above.

How long we keep it

• Order and invoice records — 8 years, as required for GST and income tax records in India.
• Account details — until you ask us to delete them.
• Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Email care@jayambabhadang.com to:

• Get a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your account and personal details
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails

We respond within 30 days. One limit worth being straight about: we cannot delete invoice records we are legally required to keep, so a deletion request removes your account and contact details but leaves the tax record of orders already placed.

Every marketing email also has an unsubscribe link. Order confirmations and delivery updates are not marketing and cannot be switched off while an order is in progress.

Security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Order data sits behind database access rules that deny access by default, and only our server can read it. Signing in to an account uses a one-time code sent to your email address, so there is no password of yours for us to lose.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders.
